How to earn Urban Rivals credits?

What makes Urban Rivals become addictive is the way you expand your collection through opening a booster pack.  In order to acquire one pack, you need to collect or purchase credits.

ur-credits

There are different ways on how to make Urban Rivals credits. Here’s how:

If you are rich enough and have your own credit card, you can easily purchase credits through Paypal, Visa, Moneybookers.com and Ultimate Game Card.

Here’s the tip:

If you’re residing in the Philippines wanted to purchase UR credits but do not own a credit card, you can easily buy through the Ultimate Game Card using Loadcentral which you can easily see on internet cafes such as Netopia.

As far as I know, for every Php 500, you can get about 120 credits or 6 booster packs. And because you already purchase a credit, you can now sell your cards publicly and privately giving you the oppurtunity to buy and sell card to earn clintz.

Secondly. Try to play Urban Rivals Daily Tournaments.

Daily Tournaments can be classified into 3 kinds. The TYPE I, TYPE II, and the ELO Mode.

Based on their website, they organize 12 Tournaments everyday in which you can win Clintz and Credits.

If you wish to take part, all you need to do is play during the Tournament period in one of the Tournament rooms with a Deck that is valid for that room: Type I, Type II, ELO, etc. (Game modes and Deck formats)

There is one Tournament every two hours, lasting one hour; it’s as simple as that.
After each tournament, the randomness option of rooms in normal mode (not ELO etc.) that are valid for Tournaments, will alternate between “normal” and “non random”.

Daily schedule based on your time zone, GMT +8:
[07:00 - 08:00], [09:00 - 10:00], [11:00 - 12:00], [13:00 - 14:00], [15:00 - 16:00], [17:00 - 18:00]
[19:00 - 20:00], [21:00 - 22:00], [23:00 - 00:00], [01:00 - 02:00], [03:00 - 04:00], [05:00 - 06:00].

Your goal in a Tournament is to score as many battle points as possible during the course of the Tournament.
Note that the general rules regarding how you win battle points are altered during Tournaments in order to keep them as fair as possible. The current alterations are indicated at the bottom of the page.

When the Tournament is over, the prizes will be distributed according to the prize distribution rules specified below.

Clintz jackpot:
Starts at 10000 Clintz and increases after each battle by adding the double of the Clintz won in the battle.
1st - 5th: 2% each (example for a 350 000 Jackpot: 7 000 Clintz)
6th - 10th: 1% each (example for a 350 000 Jackpot: 3 500 Clintz)
11th - 25th: 0.4% each (example for a 350 000 Jackpot: 1 400 Clintz)
26th - 50th: 0.3% each (example for a 350 000 Jackpot: 1 050 Clintz)
51st - 100th: 0.2% each (example for a 350 000 Jackpot: 700 Clintz)
101st - 150th: 0.1% each (example for a 350 000 Jackpot: 350 Clintz)
151st until the end: 50 Clintz min each (example for a 350 000 Jackpot: 76 Clintz)
The 1st player will also receive a bonus of 1 000 Clintz

Free Credits:
All the players from the top 1/3 of the Tournament will win 1 Credit(s). (ex: 1st->1000th /3000)

On the other hand, try to play ELO Mode for the chance to win lots of clints and about 50 credits.

The rules of ELO is much complicated. Feel free to read below.

The ELO system is a special game mode for players with level 15 or above in which you can win Collector & Rare cards as well as Clintz and Credits.

The rules of ELO are designed for a more strategic gameplay based on Deck building.
To play in ELO mode, you must have a Deck valid for the ELO Deck Format and play in one of the ELO rooms.
There is one ELO Tournament per week. Every player starts the Tournament with an ELO value of 1000.
At the end of every ELO battle, you’ll win or lose ELO points according to your opponent’s ELO value and double the number of Clintz earned in the battle will be added to the ELO Clint Jackpot.
At the end of the Tournament, every player with an ELO value over 1000 will win a prize. Then everybody is reset to 1000.

Urban-Rivals: My Rescue Deck

Feel free to see the deck I use while playing Urban Rival Tournament Type 1. Sad to say I can’t use them to ELO tournament because of Alec and Marco.
rescues-to-the-rescue
What I like to this deck is that:

1) User - friendly:

Planning a strategy on the Rescue deck is very easy.  Eventhough you just put 1 - 2 pills, there is a posibility that you can win. Thanks to their +12 attack bonus.

2) Easy to KO opponents:

If right cards are drawn, you can easily two hit KO your opponent. That’s why, it is preferred to use the RESCUE deck when you want to be one of the top places in the Type 1 tournament.  Fast killing, fast experience, more clintz. Just be aware of those SOA and SOB cards. With right bluffing, you can win the match.

I hope my Rescue Deck will help me earn enough money to buy an Ambre Card. I’m planning to create a new deck together with Ambre and some 2 stars cards.  Wish me luck.

Why people get addicted to Urban Rivals - The Online Trading Card Game?

I hope this poem from Urban Rivals’ Messageboards answer this question.

us

Addiction

I can stop if I want
But this game is just aces
I get to buy cards
and see them change faces

Just one more game
Just one more card
My deck is complete, but
The game is hard

I don’t want to stop
But I can if I choose
Its just that this game
Makes it hard to snooze

I can stop if I want
but this game, it’s so great, yet
I think I’m addicted
I’m starting to hate it

I tried to stop playing
Tried to quit gaming
But all I did
was kept the blaze flaming

Now I’m addicted
Its this game you see
I didn’t pick it
The game, it picked me

Hahaha. I wish my classmates don’t get mad at me. Peace bro!

Urban Rivals is an online multiplayer card game. Each card represents a character (some of which are based on real people or well-known fictional characters).

  • Each character has a specific Power and Damage, and belongs to a clan.
  • Some cards have abilities that are either triggered or countered by another card’s ability.
  • However, a card should be at a certain level to reach that ability.
  • Free registration gives a player 8 character cards; further cards can be purchased.
  • Four new characters usually for two different clans are added every two weeks.
  • Sometimes 6 characters are added, usually for a new clan.
